Plant Operative Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship combines paid employment with fully funded training, allowing you to earn a recognised NVQ qualification while gaining hands-on experience in the workplace. Open to all ages, apprenticeships offer a powerful opportunity to retrain or upskill—no matter where you are in your career—as long as you’re working 21+ hours per week.

As an apprentice, you’ll be employed by a local company, learning directly from experienced staff in a real working environment. Your off-the-job training will be delivered by MSC, supporting you step-by-step towards achieving your full qualification.

We’ll design a programme around you and your employer’s needs and support you every step of the way until qualification - ensuring you stay on track, building your confidence, and making real progress throughout your apprenticeship.

Our custom-built centres in Strabane and Belfast allow apprentices to train under skilled tutors and achieve recognised certification in Plant Operations, Plant Maintenance, and Road Building—setting them up for real-world success.
